The Church Board of Elders (often called the Church Board) is a team of trusted members elected by the congregation to work alongside the pastor in leading and serving the church.

The Board provides spiritual oversight, helping ensure the church stays rooted in God’s Word and aligned with Nazarene doctrine and mission. They support the pastor and staff with encouragement, accountability, and partnership in ministry. They also help set ministry goals, plan for the church’s future, and evaluate the effectiveness of our ministries. In addition, the Board oversees the church budget and resources with integrity, handles membership matters, and helps organize the church’s structure in line with the Church of the Nazarene’s Manual.

Board members are elected by the congregation from among active members of the church and serve one to two years terms. They must be people who live out their faith, align with the teachings of the Church, and are committed to serving the church family.
