What We Believe

We believe God calls every follower of Jesus to live a holy life, a life set apart by His grace. Through an act of God, He cleanses our hearts from sin and fills us with love for Him and for others.

Following Jesus isn’t just about belief. It’s a way of life. As we learn to obey God’s Word and walk alongside one another in community, we discover true joy and the real freedom found in Christ. This kind of life doesn’t come from our own strength, but through God’s presence working in us day by day, shaping us and helping us grow.

The ultimate goal of this journey is to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus.

key beliefs

GOD
We believe there is one eternal, infinite God who is holy, loving, and sovereign. He reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—all fully God.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again, went to heaven, and now intercedes for us before God.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is active today—convicting the world of sin, renewing hearts, guiding believers, and helping us live more like Jesus.
THE BIBLE
We believe the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. They are trustworthy and sufficient for understanding God’s will and for salvation.
SIN
We believe that sin entered the world through Adam and Eve. Every person is affected by both inherited sin (original sin) and individual, personal sins.
ATONEMENT
We believe Jesus’ death on the cross is the only way sinners can be forgiven. His sacrifice is sufficient for every person.
SANCTIFICATION & HOLINESS
We believe God continues to work in us after we become believers, transforming us into Christ-likeness. We affirm “entire sanctification” — a work of grace by the Holy Spirit that frees believers from the power of sin and enables holy, loving obedience.
THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the community of all who trust in Christ. The local church is where believers gather for worship, teaching, sacraments, mutual care, and mission
BAPTISM
We believe baptism is a sacrament commanded by Jesus. It publicly symbolizes acceptance of Christ, obedience, and cleansing.
THE LORD'S SUPPER/COMMUNION
We believe Communion is a sacred act instituted by Jesus to remember His sacrifice. Those who have faith in Christ and love their fellow believers are invited to participate and renew their commitment.
SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
We believe Jesus will return. Those who are alive when He comes will be caught up with the resurrected believers to meet Him.
RESURRECTION & JUDGEMENT
We believe all people will be resurrected. Believers will receive eternal life; those who reject Christ will face judgment and separation from God.
